Practical help, real community, and no gatekeeping. Every program below is open to Nye County families.

Medical Care Assistance

Help with the costs and logistics that insurance leaves behind: equipment, travel to specialists in Las Vegas, and supplies families cannot cover alone.

Life Skills Club

Thursdays 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the PDOP building, run by PDOP. Cooking, money, safety, friendship, and independence for ages 7 to adult.

Education and IEP Advocacy

Free special education advocacy, open to all families. PDOP connects you to an advocate; the advocacy work, forms, and waivers happen at advocateiep.com.

Workshops and Training

Parent and caregiver training on disability rights, school systems, benefits, and daily living, offered locally so nobody has to drive to Las Vegas.

Free community dinners, picnics, kickball, Cookies with Santa, Night for the Stars, and more. Members attend PDOP activities free all year.
