What a session looks like

Each week centers on one practical skill: cooking a simple meal, budgeting and handling money, personal safety, using transportation, job readiness, or navigating social situations. Sessions are hands-on, paced for the group, and run entirely by PDOP.

A note for caregivers

Life Skills Club is a drop-off program, and that is on purpose. Participants engage more freely and build more independence when their caregiver is not in the room, and caregivers need an hour that belongs to them. Take the walk, run the errand, sit in the car with a coffee. We would rather you use the hour for yourself.

If a participant needs one-on-one support to take part safely, tell us on the form and we will work it out together.
